No, seriously. This stuff pisses me off to no end. Sure, we may not be physically as strong as the male sex is, but that does not mean females are weak or fragile. I’m not a feminist, really, I’m not, but my mom is one of the strongest persons I’ve ever met and she’s doing it all alone, without a guy to protect her. And although I do feel like she should ask for help more than she does and sometimes we do need a man to do some stuff, this does not mean women are weak or need to be protected.
It’s nice to feel protected, it is. But we don’t need it. And that that post got so many notes with girls swooning all over it pisses me off too because it’s not cute, it just said that women are not able to take care of theirselves. Which we are. And I wish everyone could realize that, including the girls themselves.
